Globe Life Field- Texas Rangers

While in Fort Worth, I had the chance to visit the new Rangers stadium, Globe Life Field. Even though we couldn’t catch a game, we got to learn all about the history that went into the construction and experience some luxurious areas that a regular tickets wouldn’t include.

Globe Life Field opened in 2020 and holds about 40,000 people. As you enter the stadium, take a moment to appreciate the architectural design of the large arches incorporated to preserve the history of the original, Choctaw Stadium. As you make your way, look up at the pillars that represent Texas Ranger retired numbers, adding a touch of legacy.

One standout feature is the largest single-panel operable roof in the world! This massive retractable roof ensures fans can enjoy the game in any weather. It takes about 12 minutes to close, so weather conditions are closely monitored before and during the game.

I got a chance to get an uninterrupted picture of the Rangers' jersey wall—a creative display showcasing the team’s past jersey styles. This wall is located just outside the 200-level, which is home to the stadium’s Karbach Brewing concession and the legendary ROCKING CHAIR seats.

If you're looking for a more luxurious, private experience for the game, the field-level lounge includes buffets, a restaurant, and offers incredible views with field at eye level. These premium areas provide a more exclusive game-day experience, complete with plush seating and top-notch service.

Even though I couldn’t catch a game this time, the tour of Globe Life Field was an amazing experience. We are definitely hoping to go back soon for a game and experience the excitement of Globe Life Field in full swing. If you’re ever in the area, don’t miss out on this fantastic tour!
